This beautiful Morganite and Natural Diamond ring in 18ct Rose Gold is a soft and dreamy affair, it’s got great scale on the finger, and yet because the colours are so soft, it feels very demure, very elegant.
Morganites are the lesser known sister in the glittering Beryl family, her famous sisters are Emerald and Aquamarine, and part of what has held Morganites back a little is that they are relative newcomers to the canon of known gemstones. They were named for financier JP Morgan upon their discovery in 1910, and have made huge strides in the last few years, becoming very sought after.
And this particular Morganite is a wonderful peachy pink colour. It would make a lovely engagement ring, or a great right hand ring, and is a good piece for a collector. A good Morganite of over 5ct is hard to find, and this one is lovely.
