This ring is like a rare gift from the heavens. The beautiful, certified 10.08 carat golden Heliodor is very unusual and special. It’s set in an elegant, solid Platinum mount and it’s breathtakingly wonderful. It changes colour depending on the light; it tips from rich golden to rich bright yellow. I’ve tried to capture the colours; this is an endlessly fascinating, rare and lovely gemstone! A perfect ring for someone who longs for something unique that no one else will have!

Heliodor is a name used by mineralogists and gemologists for specimens of the mineral beryl with a yellow, greenish yellow, or golden-yellow colour. The name "Heliodor" is derived from two Greek words - helios, which means "sun," and doron which  means "gift." The words together mean “gift from the sun." Other more famous relatives in the Beryl family are Emerald and Aquamarine.
