And this beautiful Asscher Cut three stone is breathtaking. It’s set with three graduated Asscher Cut (also known as Square Cut) Diamonds, in a simple pared back solid and substantial mount.
Asscher Cuts are a bit like icebergs, they face up quite small, and are deeper than Brilliant Cuts, so you don’t get the spread, or the finger coverage that you would with a Brilliant of the same carat weight. That, and the fact that only the very cleanest and best stones can be cut into Asschers because the square step cuts are unforgiving of inclusions, both combined to make Asschers one of the most expensive finger real estate mm for mm in naturals.
