This ring is simply breathtaking. The central 6.25 carat unheated Blue Ceylon Sapphire is fresh, stunning, and a real bargain.
Why is it such a bargain? We have had the Sapphire for years, it came from an old, honestly pretty battered and unsaleable Art Deco ring, and when we got the Sapphire unset, there were a few chips on the girdle and the facets, so we recut and polished it, and shoved it in the safe until we reset it recently. It’s old pricing.
The Sapphire has a cert, by GCS stating Ceylon (Sri Lanka), no heat which will be provided with the ring.
There are really no words to describe this gemstone's magical colour and rarity. This is a true once-in-a-lifetime treasure.
The oval-cut Sapphire is surrounded by 0.95 total carats of exceptional large trapezoid cut Natural Diamonds and set in heavy Platinum.
