21.60 CTW Oval Cut Blue Topaz and Moissanite Drop Earrings in Sterling Silver

These are absolutely stunning and very dramatic Blue Topaz and Moissanite drop earrings!  The oval cut Blue Topaz are hand cut, and they’re a beautifully fresh Sea Blue colour. They have a carat weight of 7.50 carats each, giving a total Topaz carat weight of 15.00 carats. The stunning crisp Blue Topaz stones are each topped by a dazzling round brilliant cut Moissanite, that weigh in at 3.30 carats each. These earrings are utterly mesmerising, and add a pop of dazzling baby blue, and a bucket load of sparkle. Moissanite is a really interesting gem that was first discovered on a meteorite and was thought to be Diamond. It has a higher refractive index than Diamond (making it sparklier) and is 9.5 on the Mohs scale. Diamonds are 10 and Sapphires are 9, so it’s very hard and very dazzling, perfect for an engagement ring! Natural Moissanites are a very rare mineral, and so most gems used in jewellery today are lab-created with the exact same chemical composition and structure as one naturally occurring on Earth (or in space!)
