7.25 CTW Oval Cut Garnet and Moissanite Halo Cocktail Ring in Sterling Silver

This absolutely stunning Garnet and Moissanite halo cocktail ring is decadent!  The oval cut Garnet is hand cut and in a beautiful rich red Beaujolais colour. It has a finger-filling carat weight of 6.09 carats, and the dazzling oval cut Moissanite halo has a total carat weight of approximately 2.16 carats. This ring is utterly mesmerising, and would make a wonderfully unique engagement ring, or a great right hand or cocktail ring. It’s solidly and substantially set in either Sterling Silver, 9ct Gold, or 18ct Gold. Moissanite is a really interesting gem that was first discovered on a meteorite and was thought to be Diamond. It has a higher refractive index than Diamond (making it sparklier) and is 9.5 on the Mohs scale. Diamonds are 10 and Sapphires are 9, so it’s very hard and very dazzling, perfect for an engagement ring! Natural Moissanites are a very rare mineral, and so most gems used in jewellery today are lab-created with the exact same chemical composition and structure as one naturally occurring on Earth (or in space!)
