Sunday 4th August

Morning! Sorry I’ve been a bit remiss with the weekly roundups of late, it’s been nearly a month, and this will be a bumper one, pop the kettle on and settle in! Since we last rounded up, we have combined the websites, so kjj.rocks and kjj.diamonds have combined to become kjj.co.uk, and we’ve updated everything and done a proper tidy up, making sure all the links are working, if you come across any that don't work, please do let me know. Such posts as the Christmas gift guide of 2021 didn’t make the cut, but we‘ve organised all the relevant posts into a blog section which is well worth a read.

Both with the business and life in general, it’s been all change since I last posted a blog. We’ve moved house, which has been full on, and we’re just starting to feel settled in the new place, I normally only take pictures of jewellery, my phone has 80,243 pictures at last count, and I would conservatively estimate that 75,000 of them are jewels, being obsessed with both jewels and tea, this pic might be one of my all time favorites, it’s our new hot beverage and baking supplies dresser. Much discussion was had about how to order the mugs.

Also, James and I celebrated our wedding anniversary which was lovely, here we are being incredibly well lit in golden hour!

Enough preamble, and waffle about tea! If you’re here for the gear, there are some amazing new pieces that have dropped throughout July, here is a look at the ring we saw before it was set a few weeks ago, and I’ve suddenly realised what it has been reminding me of! Boiled sweets, it’s the colours of the old Polo fruit sweets! It’s huge and glorious in real life, it weighs half an ounce, honestly it’s giving sweet shop vibes!

Another winner is this beautiful Ruby and natural Diamond ring, we had the Ruby, it came out of a broken antique ring, and we’d shoved it in the safe in the “to be dealt with later” box. Well, its day has come, and it looks amazing! We set it in 18ct Yellow and White gold in a unique made to measure mount. It’s extremely lovely quality, and you’ll never see another exactly the same. Rubies make great engagement rings, they signify love and passion. It would also work as a lovely anniversary present and look fabulous as a right hand ring. Trilogies signify the past, present, and future, making them especially ideal for marking life’s significant milestones. And it’s a really easy style of ring to wear everyday.

We’ve been focusing on studs too, and now have stud earrings available to order in almost every size and shape, from Natural Diamond round brilliants, to Old Cut moissanites, these are the moissys, and here’s a link to them.

We have been so busy, and we have made some bespoke winners, some I can’t show you yet, I don’t want to let any cats out of the bag 💍🤞do check back in the next couple of weeks to have a swoon! Here is something lovely I can share…

This is a behind the scenes pic of some of this months lovely fresh off the bench treasures, three Emeralds, and four beautiful Sapphires. For more details on them all, head to the Gemstones section.

In other news, Maddie and Bel have staged a take over of the KJJ TikTok account, if you have an account there, do check out what they’re up to, it’s fun, and I’d really appreciate it if they had a bit of support right off the bat. Right that’s all I can think of right now, other than to leave you with this Sapphire, how have we still got it??!! It’s amazing!!
